General information

Tour registration

To register for a tour, please call 506-226-4353 or send an e-mail to info@bonvoyagetours.ca.

For travel to the USA, we will need your name (as it appears on your passports), date of birth, citizenship, address and telephone number. For travel within Canada, only your name, address and telephone number are required.

Deposit

At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. The amount may vary from tour to tour, from $100 to $150. The deposit is then deducted from the total cost of the tour.

If, at any time, Bon Voyage Tours must cancel the tour, all tour participants will receive a refund of their deposit, or any amount paid towards the cancelled tour.

Passport

Passports are required for travel to the United States. Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of you tour.

Proof of vaccination

Proof of vaccination is not currently required for travel to the United States.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out health or trip interruption/cancellation insurance to cover you in the event of illness, accident or unforeseen circumstances preventing you from making your trip. Bon Voyage Tours cannot, under any circumstances, refund your trip within 45 days of departure.

Luggage and carry-on bag

You’re allowed one large suitcase and one small bag to bring on the bus. Please note that the compartment above your head is only 9 inches high, so we advise you to bring a bag that’s fairly soft or that you can stow away easily. Otherwise, it will have to stay at your feet.

Children aged 18 and under travelling without their parents

If you are taking a child on a tour to the U.S. and he or she is not accompanied by his or her parents, you must have a letter of consent signed by both parents. If only one parent is present during the tour, that parent must bring a letter of consent signed by the other parent.

Seats on the bus

Seats will be assigned in advance, so you can sit with your friends, family or partner. Many people ask to sit forward or even backward. Priority will be given to those who have indicated health problems. Thank you for your understanding! Assigning seats is no easy task.

Tickets for attractions

Please do not purchase tickets in advance, unless otherwise indicated, as some scheduled activities may be cancelled or changed due to unforeseen circumstances. Bon Voyage Tours is not responsible for refunding tickets purchased in advance.

Breaks

We stop for breaks every 2-3 hours. We recommend using the toilet during breaks. There’s a toilet on the bus, but it’s for emergency use only.

Tips

Tips for drivers are not included in your package and are entirely at your discretion. You’ll be able to tip at the end of the tour, if you wish.

Payments

Prices are per person and in Canadian funds. They include tax. An initial deposit is required at the time of booking. And the balance is due 45 days before departure. We accept cash, certified cheques or Interact transfers. We also accept credit card payments, but a 3.5% fee applies for this service.

Cancellation policy

You can cancel your reservations at any time up to 45 days before departure. Please note that the initial deposit is non-refundable. No refunds will be made in the 45 days prior to departure, so it’s very important to take out travel insurance that can cover you in the event of unforeseen circumstances or illness.
