Useful Information

Passports: Passports are mandatory when travelling to the United States. Your passport must be valid for the duration of your trip.
 

Insurance: Medical insurance and trip cancellation/interruption are not included in your package. Please purchase the necessary insurance before departure.

 

Luggage: You may bring a large suitcase (27 inches) and a small carry-on bag that you can bring with you in the bus. Don't forget to store your passport, insurance papers, camera, batteries, etc. in your carry-on bag.

 

Children: If your child is accompanying you to the United States, it would be wise to bring a written consent from the other parent saying that your child may leave the country with you. 

 

Allergies: Due to allergies, we ask that you not wear scented products in the bus.

 

Tickets to attractions: Please do not buy tickets in advance since some scheduled activities may be cancelled or changed due to unforseen circumstances. Bon Voyage Tours is not responsible for refunding tickets bought in advance.

 

Medication: Please keep all your medication in their original containers.

 

Food: When travelling to the United States, you may bring snacks with you as long as they are in their original package. Please remember that you cannot cross meat, fruit or nutss at the border.

 

Breaks: We will be stopping for breaks every few hours. It is recommended to go to the washrooms during breaks. There is a washroom in the bus, but we suggest that it be used for emergencies only, as it may become smelly over time if there is excessive use.

 

Cleanliness: Please help to keep your bus clean. We will go around in the bus with a large garbage bag so you can dispose of your garbage.

 

Tips: Tips for drivers are not included in your package and are at your discretion.

 

Payments: Prices shown are per person, in Canadian funds and include tax. A deposit of $100 per person is required at time of booking. The balance is due 30 days prior departure. We accept cash, personal cheques, certified cheques, money orders, credit cards and payments through Paypal or Interact money transfer. Please note that there is a fee of 2.9% for those who wish to pay with their credit card.

 

Cancellation: You may cancel your booking according to the following guidelines:

- 30 days before departure if you booked a trip consisting of 7 days or less. 
- 45 days before departure if you booked a trip consisting of 8 days or more.

After that, no refund will be issued unless we are able to replace your seats. This is why it is so important to purchase trip interruption/cancellation insurance.

Liability: Bon Voyage Tours acts  only as an agent for the passengers with respect to the dining, attractions, admissions, transportation and accommodations, and therefore cannot accept responsibility for missed connections, delayed departures or arrivals, loss, damage or inconvenience caused to persons or property. Bon Voyage Tours cannot accept responsibility for changes to itinerary, accommodations, transportation or attractions. Bon Voyage Tours reserves the right to modify itineraries at all times as deemed necessary. Bon Voyage Tours shall not assume liability or responsability for any loss of personal property or damage.
